Well well... look at this yes this is a 562 Shelocta coal train with out Mac's...Seems that all the 80 Mac locomotive failures has forced NS to use the brandy new 70-2's. But of couse under less than ideal conditions seen here north bound on the B&P. Jan 2006 North Point, Pa

How is it that when I look at this shot all I see is the dam orange hat that the conductor is wearing? He buddy take that hat off , don't you know I'm trying to take a picture here! Hey look here, a rare daylight run of the Homer City Coal train...Oh wonderful look at the leader the 3119...oh well this is a rare day light run so I will not complain. Off the Shelocta and Out on good rail and notching it up to track speed. Ernest, Pa Feb 1 2006.
